THE ORCHARD BOOK OF FIRST GREEK MYTHS is my biggest best-seller and it still selling very well coming up to ten years since publication.  There are versions in Italian, Greek, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese. In Britain it is has been adopted by many schools as their preferred text when doing Ancient Greece at KS1.

In 2006, six of the stories in the collection were  published as standalone books with simpler language for early readers. Jan Lewis also added new artwork, opening up the stories even further to include many details of life in the ancient world.

The result was FIRST GREEK MYTHS - THE SERIES.  The orginal six books were followed by another four in 2008, making it a complete collection of ten. You can buy these titles separately or as a set from various sites, shops and book clubs.

The series is also available in Brazil [published by Scipione], Greece [Patakis Press] and in Korea with audio cds in English.
